Walking the mystical path with practical feet, Angeles Arrien, cultural anthropologist and educator, described how to live fully present in the world, while balancing our lives, work and spirituality. The author of several books, including The Four-Fold Way, Angeles was a master teacher who taught passionately, leading hundreds of participants in ritual and carefully designed processes to awaken our creativity and launch us on our personal journeys. Her work, a synthesis of indigenous wisdom, psychology and comparative religions, emerged from her deep connection and respect for the land-based knowledge of many cultures, including the Maoris, the people of South Africa and her own Basque culture.
This workshop will explore several techniques and practices that Angie developed including the drum journey and the Universal Shapes assessment. We will work to integrate our experience through music, poetry and collage. Come prepared to learn more about the ways of the Leader, Healer, Visionary and Teacher and to participate in practices that will open your heart and mind to your life path.
